Glenn to preach
The Rev. Linda Glenn, a Cumberland Presbyterian minister for the past 26 years, will be the speaker  Sunday at Union City Cumberland Presbyterian Church, located at 631 East Church St.
Her sermon title will be “The Ministry Hospitality,” based on Matthew 10:40-42.
The Rev. Glenn is married and has two grown children, who are both attending Austin Peay State University in Clarksville.
The community is invited to attend and those who are not able to visit may watch the live service at 11 a.m. on WOBT-TV.
The congregation meets for prayer at 9:30 a.m., followed by Sunday school at 10 and worship at 11.

To sell dinners
Powerhouse Ministries will be selling dinners Friday and Saturday from noon-2 p.m. at 2131 Nailling Drive in Union City.
The Friday menu will include fried catfish, spaghetti, cole slaw, bread, dessert and drink for $6.
The Saturday menu will be fried chicken, green beans, macaroni, rolls, dessert and drink for $6.

To honor pastor,
 first lady
Right Path Ministries in Union City will be hosting an anniversary celebration for the congregation’s pastor and “first lady” Sunday.
The Rev. Phillip and Mae Sanders and the church will welcome the Rev. Stephon Macklin and Maybelline Hurt to morning servics.
The Rev. Andre Belmont and the congregation of South Fulton Antioch Ministries will be afternoon guests. A meal will be served when they arrive and the afternoon program will begin at 2:30.

Revival to begin
Hornbeak Wayside Church, located near Hornbeak on the highway to Samburg, will have revival services Friday and Saturday at 7 each evening. The Rev. Tommy Roper of Dyersburg will be the evangelist.
The Rev. Dennis Quinn and the congregation invite the community to attend.

McKameys to sing
The McKameys will appear in concert at 7 p.m. Friday at The Shepherd’s Field Church at 500 Fowler Road near Martin. A love offering will be accepted.
