First State offices in Martin, Sharon, and Greenfield are hosting a school supply drive for We Care Ministries, Sharon Schools and Greenfield Schools. The items that are collected will be provided directly to the organization or schools. First State Bank in Martin, located at 106 University St. or 126 University Plaza, will be collecting folders, scissors, and backpacks for grades K-4th. First State Bank in Sharon, located at 142 E. Main St., and Greenfield, located at 302 N. Front Street, will be collecting baby wipes, Clorox wipes, hand sanitizer, highlighters, index cards, Kleenex, Lysol spray, paper towels, post it notes, and Ziploc bags. Donations will be accepted from now until July 29. “First State will be able to provide the much needed items to this school because of the community’s kindness,” said Sam Lewallen, community bank president for First State Bank of Martin. “The school will greatly appreciate the generosity of our community and the donations will help children succeed in their educational career.”
