Woman reports assault

A Union City woman told police she was walking home on Friday and was assaulted by an unknown man.
The 20-year-old woman told police on Saturday afternoon that she was walking in the 1500 block of East Main Street the prior evening when a man attacked her from behind. She said she did not get a good look at him, but knows he was a black male.
She suffered bumps and bruises to the back of her head and has a large bruise on her upper left arm.
