Pet event slated

Tractor Supply is having the biggest “pet appreciation” event ever on Saturday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on West Reelfoot Avenue in Union City. The Animal Adoption Center will be joining them with lots of pets available for adoption.
There will be a lot going on, including drawings for a one-year supply of dog food or a $100 vet services rebate, lots of freebies and pet information handouts. 4-H club members will be there helping with water bowls, so be sure to bring your leashed pets to join the activities, a spokesman said.
