Lady Mustangs split
four tourney games

Ridgemont split four games in a middle school softball tournament in Paris over the weekend.
The Lady Mustangs beat Henry, 11-1, and Gibson County, 10-4, but lost to Stewart County, 5-0, and then Camden, 7-6.
Sheridan Bugg and Macey Beeler each picked up a pitching victory.
In R’mont’s victory vs. Henry, Macy Muirhead hit two inside-the-park home runs, while Bugg tripled and doubled to help her own cause. Carly Bramlett pitched in at the plate with a double.
In the triumph over GC, Marissa French circled the bases via an inside-the-park homer, while Muirhead singled twice and both Beeler and Keaton Cooper had base knocks.
French, Bugg, Muirhead and Cooper all had two hits apiece the Mustangs’ loss to Camden.
Now 5-4, Ridgemont plays at Lake Road on Tuesday.
