CTE open house slated

The Messenger, September 7, 2011 Obion County Central High School will host a CTE open house Monday from 4:30-6 p.m. to showcase the Career and Technical Education programs offered on the Troy campus. Instructors from agriculture, business technology, carpentry, auto body, cosmetology, family and consumer science, health science and welding will be available to provide valuable information and insight concerning their programs of study. Guests will be able to tour the recently-completed CTE facilities which opened this school year. All parents of current and prospective students are urged to attend, a spokesman said. Following the open house, each program area will conduct an advisory meeting beginning at 6 p.m. Anyone interested in attending the advisory meeting is encouraged to attend.
