Art classes divided

The Messenger, September 15, 2011 Art classes for children at the Obion County Museum have been rescheduled to accommodate varying age levels and instructional needs, according to a spokesman. Children who are 5 years old and homeschool students will have instruction from 2:30-3:30 p.m. Tuesdays. A second class, this one for students from 6-14 years old, will begin at 3:30 and continue for an hour. Classes will be small and the first sessions will focus on working with clay, according to Martha Doss. Adult art classes are also offered on Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. at the museum, located on Edwards Street in Union City.
