OCCHS class landscapes grounds | Obion County Central High School

LANDSCAPING CENTRAL — The landscape design and turf class at Obion County Central High School has been very busy this fall season. At the beginning of the school year, OCCHS principal Linda Crigger asked the landscaping class if it could design a landscape to be implemented in the front of the school. The landscape design class learned how to properly draw a design to scale and about the different types of plants that could be used in the design. Through donations from Lowe’s in Union City, the class was able to bring its designs to life. Among those working on the project were (from left) Dustin Cloar, Jonathan Burns, Hailey Riggs, Marlena Derry, Myranda Morton, Justin Green, Leah Howard, Brent Flowers, Jordan Smith, Jonathan Daniels, Rad McDavid, Laken Butler and Hunter Daniels. The class is taught by agriculture teacher and FFA advisor Sarah Baker.
