 OC-McKenzie soccer
canceled for tourney

Obion Central’s soccer match Saturday at McKenzie has been canceled since it has no affect on seeding for the district tournament.
The Lady Rebels will host Trenton Monday night as the No. 4 seed on their side of the bracket. Game time is 6 p.m., and the winner goes to Westview on Tuesday with game time also 6 p.m.
South Fulton will host Haywood in its first round game on Monday.
The full bracket will be determined following tonight’s McKenzie-South Gibson game.

Tickets to go on sale
for NCAA in Nashville

Tickets for the preliminary rounds of the 2012 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Champion-ship, including the second and third round games in Nashville, go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Saturday.
First Four, second- and third-round games or regional competition tickets can be purchased at NCAA.com. All fans currently have the opportunity to purchase tickets through PrimeSport, the official ticket and hospitality package provider of the NCAA.
The 2012 championship begins with the First Four, four first-round games taking place in Dayton on March 13 and 14. Second- and third-round action takes place in Albuquerque, Louisville, Pittsburgh and Portland on March 15 and 17; while Columbus, Greensboro, Nashville and Omaha will host second- and third-round games on March 16 and 18.
The 74th Men’s Final Four will take place March 31 and April 2 in New Orleans. Fans still have the opportunity to purchase tickets and hospitality packages through PrimeSport.
