SILVER STUDENTS — Among the students recently honored at Unity Christian School in Martin for being named to their school’s Silver Honor Roll for the second quarter of the 2007-08 school year were (from left, front row) first-graders Tommy Jones and Kristopfer Hooper, (back row) second-grader Nate Colotta, third-grader Kristin Stone and fourth-grader Annie Mae Jones. Not pictured is third-grader Kerry Simpson. Students named to the Silver Honor Roll have A averages and no more than two B’s. Unity’s grading scale is different from public schools in that an A is from 95-100; a B is 88-94; a C is 78-87; a D is 70-77; and below 70 is an F.
