Student charged

A Union City teenager has been charged through juvenile court for allegedly having a knife recently on school property.
The 16-year-old boy was charged with carrying a weapon on school property, a charge levied through an Obion County Juvenile Court petition, according to a Union City Police Department report released today.
The incident allegedly occurred about 1 p.m. Nov. 2 at Union City High School, where the teenager was allegedly found with a lock blade-type knife in his possession.
