Dyersburg State to host orchestra

Dyersburg State Community College will host the annual Home for the Holidays concert presented by the Memphis Symphony Orchestra on Dec. 16 at 7:30 p.m. in the E.H. Lannom Jr. Gymnasium.
The Memphis Symphony Orchestra Chorus, under the direction of Dr. Lawrence Edwards, will join the symphony.
One of the concert highlights will be the traditional holiday sing-a-long, which will take place near the end of the program. The audience will have the opportunity to join in singing “Deck the Halls,” “O Little Town of Bethlehem” and “We Wish You a Merry Christmas.”
Tickets are now available for purchase at the business office in the Eller Building on the Dyersburg campus.
Tickets are $35 each for priority seating, $15 each for adults and $5 each for students. They will also be available for purchase at the door the evening of the performance.
