Toy give-away set
Pentecostal Tabernacle, located at 16235 State Route 45 South in Water Valley, Ky., will be having a toy give-away Dec. 17 from 9 a.m.-noon. Contact one of these representatives by Nov. 14 to submit information to be included in the event: Tina Graves at (731) 479-1097 or Dawn Robertson at (731) 335-5836 for the Fulton and South Fulton area, Madora Fout at (270) 559-019 for Wingo  and Water Valley in Kentucky, Michelle Palmer at (270) 804-2846 or Janet Ogg at (270) 376-2771 or (270) 705-7194 for the rest of Graves County in Kentucky and Sharon Warren at (270) 627-1597 for other areas.

Christmas program set
Church of Jesus for All, located  at 817 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in Union City, will host a Christmas program Saturday at 2 p.m.
Nine speakers will represent the letters in the word “Christmas” and there will be special choirs.
The Rev. Gary Moore of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Martin will represent “C,” Bishop Barbara Bolden of Anointed Church of the Living God in Union City will represent “H,” the Rev. Zebediah Rice of Open Door Church of God in Christ in Dyersburg will represent “R,” the Rev. Latisha Taylor of New Covenant Outreach Ministries in South Fulton will represent “I,” Elder Willie Burnett of Pentecostal Temple Church of God in Christ for All Nations in Union City will represent “S,” Elder Janice Crittenden of Anointed Church of the Living God in Jackson will represent “T,” the pastor of New Life Ministries in Union City will represent “M,” the Rev. Margaret Pettigrew of United Church of the Living God in Fulton will represent “A” and the Rev. Harry Hayes will represent “S.” He is the host pastor and he joins the congregation in inviting the community to attend.

Mt. Zion will sing
The sanctuary choir and the children’s choir at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church near Union City will present “Coming Home for Christmas” Sunday at 5:30 p.m. The music program will include drama and some special presentations.
The Rev. Hugh Barksdale, choir director Catherine Roberts and pianist Jane Moore join the congregation in inviting the community to attend.

Family-Friends Day set
Jacksonville Freewill Baptist Church, located at 202 College St. in South Fulton, will host Family and Friends Day Sunday at 3 p.m.
The Rev. Jackie Thomas, associate pastor of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Martin, will be the guest speaker.
Refreshments will be served following the service.
James Watford, pastor, and the congregation invite the community to attend.

Gospel singing set
Living Truth will be featured at a gospel singing Saturday at 7 p.m. at Emmaus Baptist Church on Butler Road near Newbern.
The Rev. James Hooper is pastor. The public is invited to attend.

 CP Church to host
Christmas musical
The Chancel Choir of Union City Cumberland Presbyterian Church will present “Sing and Shout For Joy,” a cantata by Tom Fettke, Sunday at 11 a.m. Soloists include Adam Campbell, Trent Arnold, Sally Tanner and  Chris Norton. Norma Adams is the accompanist and Barry Adams is the director of music.
Sunday school is at 10 and there is a special time of prayer at 9:45 a.m. Holy Grounds coffee fellowship takes place at 10:40. The worship service is broadcast live on WOBT-TV and a nursery is available.
A love feast will follow the music presentation at noon.
The community is invited to attend.

Choirs plan
presentations
The Sanctuary Choir of Calvary Baptist Church, located at 2250 East Reelfoot Ave. in Union City, will present “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year” Sunday at 10:30 a.m.  The musical, written by Eddie Pola and George Wyle, is orchestrated and arranged by David Clydesdale and will bring delight and inspiration to all attending, a spokesman said.
The musical will be directed by Luke Parker, minister of music at Calvary. 
The Children’s Choir will present “The Best Christmas Present Ever” Sunday at 6 p.m. The musical, created and arranged by Celeste and David Clydesdale, will be directed by Kathleen Parker.
The community is invited to attend this energetic children’s celebration of Christmas and the Sunday morning special celebration, as well, a spokesman said.

Food available
Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church’s “One For All” food pantry will be open  Tuesday from 4-6 p.m. Proof of residency and income is required, a spokesman said.
The church is located at 1422 Pleasant Valley Ave. in Union City.
