The two-time defending OVC Defensive Player of the Year, Elswick has ripped through the UT Martin record book for digs (1,963), already accumulating 562 more digs than the previous record-holder with one full season remaining. The all-time digs mark in the OVC (2,454) is well within reach for the product out of Assumption High School in Louisville, Ky.
Elswick briefly led the nation in digs before settling in at the No. 2 spot at the end of the regular season with 6.50 per set. Her 852 digs in 2011 ranked atop the OVC record book for the most in a single season.
