Union City School System has announced the following menus for Jan. 2-6:
Union City High School
Monday, Jan. 2 — Christmas holiday.
Tuesday, Jan. 3 — Beef vegetable soup and grilled cheese sandwich, steamed broccoli, whole kernel corn, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Wednesday, Jan. 4 — Chicken patty with bun, baked sweet potato, sandwich salad cup, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Thursday, Jan. 5 — Chicken fajita with tortilla and salsa, carrot sticks, pinto beans, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Friday, Jan. 6 — Cheeseburger with whole wheat bun, French fries, fresh sandwich salad cup, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Note: UCHS offers fiesta bar, reduced-fat pizza bar and fresh salad bar options.

Monday, Jan. 2 — Christmas holiday.

Thursday, Jan. 5 — Chicken fajita with tortilla and salsa or ham and cheese with whole wheat bun, fajita vegetables, carrot sticks, fresh banana, fruit cocktail, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Friday, Jan. 6 — Cheeseburger with whole wheat bun or whole-grain corn dog, French fries, fresh sandwich salad cup, fresh orange, applesauce, and low-fat milk and skim milk.

South Fulton Elementary has announced the following menus for Jan. 2-6:
Breakfast
Monday, Jan. 2 — Christmas holiday.
Tuesday, Jan. 3 — Whole-grain Pop Tarts or whole-grain cereal with graham crackers and low-fat chocolate milk, skim white milk or fruit juice.
Wednesday, Jan. 4 — Whole-grain breakfast pizza or whole-grain cereal with whole-grain cinnamon toast and low-fat chocolate milk, skim white milk or fruit juice.
Thursday, Jan. 5 — Sausage with whole-grain biscuit or whole-grain cereal with fresh orange and graham cracker and low-fat chocolate milk, skim white milk or fruit juice.
Friday, Jan. 6 — Breakfast burrito or whole-grain cereal with graham crackers and yogurt and low-fat chocolate milk, skim white milk or fruit juice.
Note: Free breakfast is offered daily to every SFES student.
Lunch
Monday, Jan. 2 — Christmas holiday.
Tuesday, Jan. 3 — Whole-grain pepperoni pizza or crispito with cheese, cheesy potatoes, stewed carrots, sliced peaches, kids snack mix and low-fat chocolate milk, skim white milk or orange juice.
Wednesday, Jan. 4 — Whole-grain corn dog or burrito, sweet potatoes, English peas, sliced pears, graham cracker and low-fat chocolate milk, skim white milk or orange juice.
Thursday, Jan. 5 — Turkey and cheese Munchin’ Meal or chicken casserole with whole-grain roll, mashed potatoes, broccoli with cheese, mixed fruit, scobby stick and low-fat chocolate milk, skim white milk or orange juice.
Friday, Jan. 6 — Cheeseburger with whole wheat bun or chicken salad with crackers, potato wedges, baked beans, carrot sticks with dip, fresh apple, Jell-O and low-fat chocolate milk, skim white milk or orange juice.
