Ministry closed
The clothing ministry at Greater Vision Church of God, located at 701 South Mary Jane St. in Troy, will be closed the month of January.  It will reopen Feb. 6 at 6:30 p.m.
Robin Rotgers is the pastor.

Café to be open
The first Soul Food Café of the new year will be hosted by Exchange Street Church of Christ Wednesday from 5:30-7 p.m. The menu includes homemade chili, baked potatoes, rolls, salad and desserts. January’s spotlight will be free blood pressure, blood sugar and body mass index testing. 
As always, the event is free and everyone is welcome. The church is located at 420 Exchange St. in Union City.

C.P. services noted
The Rev. Mike Osment, Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City chaplain, will  be speaking Sunday on the topic “A Formula for Faithfulness,”  taken from Daniel 1:8-17, at Union City Cumberland Presbyterian Church, located at 631 East Church St.
The community is invited to join the congregation for prayer at 9:45 a.m., followed by Sunday school at 10 and Holy Grounds coffee fellowship at 10:40, just prior to the worship service at 11.
A nursery is provided for all services.
Services are also broadcast live on WOBT-TV each week.

Time change told
A time change is being announced at South Ful-ton’s Liberty Worship Center Church of God of Prophecy 120 Forestdale.
The Sunday night service is now at 5.
The Rev. Danny Walker is pastor.

‘Watch’ service set
There will be a Watch Night service at Pentecostal Temple  Church of God in Christ at 417 Harrison St. in Union City Saturday at 10 p.m. The guest speaker will be the Rev. Harry Hayes of Church of Jesus for All in Union City.
Elder Willie Burnett is the host pastor and he and the congregation invite the community to join them.
