Pottery course slated at UTM

David McBeth, professor of art at the University of Tennessee at Martin, will teach a basic pottery course sponsored by the Office of Extended Campus and Online Studies on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6-8 p.m. Feb. 7 to March 1.
This is an opportunity for interested community members to work with a potter’s wheel and learn to make bowls, cups, pitchers and other artwork. No experience is necessary.
The registration fee is $80 per person, with an additional $20 supply fee paid to the instructor on the first night of class. The course is limited to the first 10 students to register.
