Retirement workshop slated on campus of UT Martin

Patrick McDowell and Larry Tolbert, MBA, CEP, will instruct a “Passport to Retirement Workshop” from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday and March 13 on the main campus of the University of Tennessee at Martin.
The workshop is sponsored by the Office of Extended Campus and Online Studies.
The course is open to all ages, but is designed ideally for those ages 45 to 70.
McDowell and Tolbert will address important issues facing those preparing for retirement, including associated living costs, sources of retirement income, improving investment potential, reducing personal risk, estate preservation and reducing or eliminating income, estate or inheritance taxes.
The course will also address the effects of inflation and the potential costs of long-term-care expenses.
Registration is $59 for an individual or a couple and includes one workbook.
