Women's History Month to include March luncheon

Popular columnist and author Lisa Smartt will be the featured speaker at the annual University of Tennessee at Martin Faculty Women’s Club Women’s History Month luncheon March 13.
The luncheon will be held at 11:30 a.m. in room 206 of Boling University Center on the UT Martin campus.
Mrs. Smartt is the author of the newspaper column and book “The Smartt View” and has traveled the country entertaining and inspiring audiences with her humorous and moving presentations.
Her topic for the Faculty Women’s Club luncheon will be “I Thought I Was a ‘People Person ...  Until I Started Working with People.”
Tickets are $12 each and may be purchased by Monday at the Boling University Center information desk or by contacting Carla Field at (731) 587-3522, Penny Moser at (731) 588-5766 or Judy Cleek at (731) 235-3638.
Gentlemen are also welcome and encouraged to attend the luncheon, a spokesman said.
