Goals in 2nd half
beat Obion Central

Covington scored a pair of second-half goals to edge Obion Central 3-2 in prep soccer action Monday night.
The Rebels scored in the first minute of the contest when Jose Comacho found the net after an assist by Eric Torres. Covington kicked the ball into its own net for OC’s second goal after the intermission.
Samuel Smith had seven saves in goal for the Rebels, though his most spectacular save was wiped away due to a due to a violation on Obion Central during a Covington penalty kick. The Chargers then made the re-try for a 1-all tie at the half.
OC, which was playing for the first time in more than a week, is now 4-2 and will play at Crockett County on Thursday.
