Fellowship event set
The United Church of the Living God, located at 609 Martin Luther King Drive in Fulton, will host a district fellowship program Sunday at 3 p.m.
The Rev. Anthony Hodges of St. Paul AME  Church in South Fulton, will be the guest speaker at 3 p.m.
Elder Margaret Pettigrew and assistant pastor Elder Betty Gordon join the congregation in inviting the community to attend.

Soul Food event slated
Exchange Street Church of Christ’s Soul Food Cafe will take place Wednesday from 5:30-7 p.m. and the menu will include pork barbecue, baked beans, cole slaw and desserts.
 The community is invited to join the congregation for this free meal. The church is located at 420 Exchange St. in Union City.

Service time changed
Sunday morning worship at Antioch Union Church has been changed to 9, with Sunday school following. The community is invited to join the congregation.

Singing program set
Friendship Free Will Baptist Church, located at 1304 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in Union City, is inviting the community to a singing program sponsored by Elder Melvin Wade at 3 p.m.

Revival continues
Shady Grove United Methodist Church, located at 5134 Virgin Road off Shady Grove Road northeast of Union City, will continue its series of Sunday revival events this week at 6 p.m.
Anita Hayslett of McCabe United Methodist Church in Martin, a certified lay speaker, will be the evangelist.
There will be a time of fellowship following the service.
The Rev. Jim Calhoun and the congregation invite the community to attend.
Prays Team to lead
Prays Team of Dyer First Baptist Church will sing and lead in worship Sunday at 11 a.m. at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, located in the Crystal community two miles off Lake Road, Sunday at 11 a.m. as part of the Fifth Sunday celebration. The Rev. Steve Carr will preach on the topic, “The Cost of a Christ-Centered Life.”
There will be a time of fellowship with doughnuts, coffee and juice at 9:30, followed by Sunday school at 10.
The community is invited to attend.

Anniversary events set
A 20th anniversary banquet is planned for May 4 at 7 p.m. at the Eddie Cox Senior Center in Union City to honor Dr. Marvin Mercer and his wife, Sherri, for their service to Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church in South Fulton. Tickets are $30 and must be purchased by Sunday.
The anniversary program will take place May 6 at the church, located at 112 Roach St., with the Rev. Wayne Isbell speaking at 11 a.m. and the Rev. Larry Mercer delivering the 2:30 p.m. message.
The public is invited to attend.

Revival beginning
Reelfoot Baptist Church will be hosting revival services beginning Sunday. The church is located at 1926 West Highway 22 near Troy.
The Rev. John Clark will preach Sunday at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m., with the Rev. Rick Burton taking the pulpit Monday at 7 p.m. and the Rev. Charles Southerland bringing the message at 7 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Dale True will be the evangelist at 7 p.m. Wednesday and Hershel Tittle will lead worship during the revival.
