Foes, times set
for SF, UC teams

Both South Fulton and Union City will play Region 7A Softball Tournament semifinal games on Monday with hopes of earning at least two more outings.
The Devilettes (34-4) — champions of District 14A for the sixth straight season — will play host to 13A runnerup McKenzie at 6 p.m.
SF will be looking for a measure of revenge against the Lady Rebels after McKenzie pulled a shocker at a similar stage last season, eliminating the heavily-favored Lady Devils 5-4. McKenzie lost in Thursday’s 13A championship game to Huntingdon 12-2.
Huntingdon (26-8) welcomes UC (21-15) 5 p.m. Monday. The Lady Twisters dropped a 3-1 decision to Huntingdon in the regular season.
The Fillies have eliminated the Lady Tornadoes at this juncture in four of the last five seasons.
Monday’s winners will advance to the regional championship on Wed-nesday and then on to sectional play Friday.
