Wynridge winners
good with 3-under
The foursome of Sandra Davis, Linda Lofton, Janice Hanna and Jolynn Gibson combined to shoot 3-under-par and win the weekly women’s scramble at Wynridge Golf Club on Tueday.
The winning score was a stroke better than the runner-up trio of Sandra Cobb, Beverly Yates and Shelley Stout.
Tag match forms
from interference
A single match quickly got out of hand, becoming a tag team battle.
“3G” Eric Wayne pinned the Tornado but then kept up the beating to the point that Ike Tucker came out to help. That, in turn, brought out The Fabulous Rocker, and eventually promoter Alvin Minnick emerged to declare a tag team match be held.
Rocker and Wayne then won the tag match.
That outcome came after Rocker had already beaten Tucker, with Wayne’s help, in the opening match.
Naughty By Nature “Rude” and Joseph Bourne beat the Sub-mission Squad, and Bull Bronson cleanly pinned “The Marvel” Stan Lee in the main event.
This week’s card has Lee back in the main event, “Rude” and Bourne taking on the EMTs and the Tornado facing off against “The Golden Boy” Greg Anthony.
