UC council sets meeting

The Union City city council will meet at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Municipal Building.
On the agenda for the meeting is consideration of appointments and reappointments to boards and committees; an ordinance to authorize the Industrial Development Board of Union City to negotiate and accept in lieu of ad valoren taxes on real and personal property to Obion County; and a review of the June planning commission minutes.
Tuesday’s meeting is open to the public.
