Republican HQ to open

The Obion County Republican Party will hold a grand opening for its new GOP headquarters Saturday at 225 South First St. in Union City.
The headquarters will open at 10 a.m. and there will be speakers at 11 to celebrate the event. A complimentary lunch will follow.
Col. James Harding and GOP candidates will kick off the 2012 election season with the Obion County Republican Party. Candidates Andy Holt, Danny Jowers, Bill Sanderson and John Stevens will be guests, as well as Dale Hendon representing Congressman Stephen Fincher, Mark Braden for Sen. Bob Corker, Sammie Arnold for Gov. Bill Haslam and Zach Poskevich.
