MPD DUI checkpoint planned

The Martin Police Department will be conducting a DUI Checkpoint Saturday between 2 and 4 a.m. The checkpoint will be located on University Street.
The Martin Police Department is joining with the Governors Highway Safety Office and other police agencies across Tennessee and the United States to increase DUI awareness and decrease DUI offenses as a part of the “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” campaign. As always, the Martin Police Department reminds motorists to buckle up and drive safely.
