To begin art classes

The Messenger, September 6, 2012 The Obion County Central High School Art Club is beginning its after-school art lessons for area students in kindergarten through eighth grade. Lessons will be taught by the OCCHS art teachers, assisted by Art Club members in the OCCHS art room (207 and 209) from 3:30-4:30 p.m. on Tuesdays. The fee, which includes all supplies, is $10 per lesson or $25 per unit of three lessons and is payable when students come to class. To register for any or all classes or for more information, call Suzanne Hill or Glen Marshal at 536-4688 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. weekdays. Students are asked to enter and exit through the commons entrance from the main parking lot behind the school. The schedule includes drawing and painting on Sept. 11, 18 and 25; pottery on Oct. 16, 23 and 30; collage and mixed media on Nov. 13, 20 and 27; stamps and printmaking on Jan. 15, 22 and 29; pottery on Feb. 12, 19 and 26; and cartoons on March 12, 19 and 26.
