LIFE IS LIKE A QUILT – Linda Arant of the Tennessee Volunteers Quilting Guild shared quilting tips with participants who dropped into the C.E. Weldon Library from the Soybean Festival on Saturday afternoon. “Life is like a quilt,” Arant told the audience. “There are lots of pieces, some are  busy , some are peaceful, happy, some are light, some are bright; some patterns are well planned, others casual. But it takes all those pieces to make our lives, all those different perspectives. We can draw all those pieces together and make something beautiful.”
