By The Numbers: Warner put up some big numbers in helping the Rebels reach the biggest number — a win. A double threat on offense, Warner piled up 232 total yards with 27 carries for 154 yards rushing and two receptions for 78 yards as the Rebels picked up their first win of the season after four losses with a 27-20 verdict over Gibson County. He is among the county leaders in both categories with 479 yards rushing and eight catches for 114 yards.
Honorable Mention: Keylon Hyde, Union City, rushed for 211 yards and three touchdowns on 19 carries in a 56-6 win over Greenfield; J.P. Fowler, South Fulton, rushed 24 times for 165 yards and caught two passes for 36 yards in a 16-14 loss to Halls; Ricky Henry, UC, rushed for three TDs; Blake Berner, OC, rushed for two scores and threw for another; Ben Jones, OC, scored the go-ahead TD on a pass reception and also rushed for a TD.
