Healthcare program set
A program focused on the future of health care is being planned for Monday at 7 p.m. in the fellowship hall at Union City Second Baptist Church, located at 831 North Everett Blvd.
The program is designed to bring information to the public through a round table discussion by local physicians and other management professionals who are knowledgeable about the issues.
The public is invited to attend this important free session to learn what health professionals are dealing with and how changes will affect healthcare in this country, a spokesman said.

Fish fry slated
The Character Builders Sunday School Class at Union City First United Methodist Church at 420 East Main St. will sponsor a fund raiser fish fry to benefit NWTN Fellowship of Christian Athletes Sept. 30 at noon.
Donations will be accepted to support the FCA ministry at schools in northwest Tennessee.

Quartet to sing
Living Truth Quartet will join Blessed Assurance and Blood Washed Trio for a southern gospel music program Saturday at 6 p.m. at The Assembly of God in the Troy/Shawtown area.
The public is invited to attend.

To host revival
Obion First Baptist Church will host a revival series beginning Sunday and continuing through Wednesday.
Sunday services will be at 10:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., with weeknight services at 7.
The Rev. Mark Dowdy of McConnell Baptist Church will be the evangelist and David Long and Joan Gregory will be worship leaders.
The Rev. Michael Julian and the congregation invite the community to attend.

Fall revival set
Bethel Baptist Church will have the Rev. Charles Southerland as the evangelist for a revival series beginning this evening and continuing through Saturday at 7 each evening.
The Rev. Marvin Wilson and the congregation invite the community to join them.

To screen film
Mt. Ararat Cumberland Presbyterian Church near Troy will host the free showing of an important film for the future of this country, “Agenda: Grinding America Down,” Sunday at 6 p.m. The church is located on the Troy-Hickman Highway.
The film will show the link between Communists, socialists and Progressives and their agenda to dismantle America’s historical commitment to patriotism, spirituality and morality.
The public is invited to attend.
