FCNB adds new branch

First Citizens National Bank and Community First Bank have entered into a purchase and assumption agreement under which First Citizens National Bank will acquire Community First Bank’s branch in Franklin.
The transaction includes about $55 million in deposits and $26 million in loans, is subject to regulatory approval and is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter.
“We’re excited for the opportunity to expand our customer base and demonstrate our commitment to the Williamson County community which we already serve,” First Citizens National Bank president and CEO Jeff Agee said.
“Between now and the closing date, the Community First and First Citizens teams will work closely with each other to assure a smooth transition for customers and employees,” Community First president and CEO Louis Holloway said. Community First is headquartered in Columbia.
