By The Numbers: While the Golden Tornadoes’ defense rarely stopped Dresden’s Devan Raymer, Shanks did get in on numerous stops with six solo tackles and seven assists. One of his stops was for a loss, a rarity in a game where the Lions piled up 356 yards and picked up 16 first downs while only punting twice
Honorable Mention: Brett Gore, UC, had five tackles and five assists, including one for a loss; Tymaine Strickland, UC, counted nine solo stops and three for a loss among his 10 total stops; J.P. Fowler, SF, had 12 total tackles in a 26-7 loss to Gleason; Jake Curlin, OC, had five tackles and an interception.
