The following cases were disposed of Sept. 17-21 in Obion County General Sessions Court by Judge Jimmy Smith, or fines paid before scheduled court appearances, and were recorded in the dockets in the office of Obion County Circuit Court Clerk Harry Johnson.
The cases listed exclude routine traffic violations, civil cases and cases that are dismissed, unless dismissal is contingent upon costs being paid or other conditions. All others are published, including judicial diversions and deferred cases, without exception.
• Linda S. Dodson — driver’s license to be carried and exhibited, dismissed on payment of costs.
• Larry D. Higgins — sexual offender registration form violation, guilty of a lesser charge of sexual offender registration form validation/attempt.
• Christina Kuta — aggravated assault, guilty of a lesser charge of assault/physical contact.
• Adam Lee Sadler — driving under the influence, guilty of a lesser charge of reckless driving.
• Lekeri R. Stunson — burglary (other than habitation)/solicitation, guilty of a lesser charge of criminal trespassing.
• Shannon Webb — theft of property ($1,000-$10,000), guilty of a lesser charge of theft of property ($1,000-$10,000)/solicitation.
• Terry P. Dwyer — reckless endangerment-vehicle/felony, bound over to the grand jury.
• Quentin Obrian Randle — theft of property ($1,000-$10,000), domestic assault and leaving the scene of an accident/property damage, bound over to the grand jury.
• Brittany D. Truett — theft (up to $500), judicial diversion.
• Kimberly L. Cotton — driving while license suspended, deferred.
• Matthew F. Hathcoat — driving while license suspended, deferred.
• Kristy N. Hazelwood — driving while license suspended, deferred.
• David G. Talley — public intoxication, deferred.
• Roberto G. Tellez — driving while license suspended, deferred.
• Brennetta W. Allen — simple possession/casual exchange/attempt, guilty as charged.
• Darron S. Carney — fraudulent use of a credit/debit card (up to $500), guilty as charged.
• Lawrence A. Everett Jr. — evading arrest and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, guilty as charged.
• Richard Franks — aggravated assault, guilty as charged.
• Roberta A. Landfair — simple possession/casual exchange/attempt, guilty as charged.
• Gregory G. Litton — driving under the influence (second offense), guilty as charged.
• Jo L. McIntyre — financial responsibility law violation, guilty as charged.
• Brandy Jo Smith — theft (up to $500), guilty as charged.
• Ricky D. Smith — public intoxication, guilty as charged.
• Jeffrey M. Clanton — driving under the influence (fourth of subsequent) and driver’s license to be carried and exhibited, waived to the grand jury.
• Fidel Acevedo — child restraint violation (children ages 4-8), guilty/traffic ticket paid in full.
• Cody Clanton — illegal taking/possession/destruction of wildlife, guilty/traffic ticket paid in full.
• David W. Farmer — financial responsibility law violation, guilty/traffic ticket paid in full.
• Heather L. Long — financial responsibility law violation, guilty/traffic ticket paid in full.
• Joel R. Mandujano — financial responsibility law violation, guilty/traffic ticket paid in full.
• Arisa Moses — financial responsibility law violation, guilty/traffic ticket paid in full.
• Timothy E. Pruitt — unlawful removal/alteration of registration tag and financial responsibility law violation, guilty/traffic ticket paid in full.
