We had good services Sunday. Charles Freeman taught our Sunday school.
Bro. Stricklin preached a wonderful sermon from Mark 8, titled “Do You Believe in Jesus Christ?”
He also had a children sermon. Cindy Siglow brings her grandchildren almost every Sunday.
Mike Blake attended a spiritual retreat several days last week between Murray and Benton. He goes to one every summer somewhere. Steve has been staying with me at night. I appreciate that my boys and daughter-in-law take really good care of me.
Our minister is getting along fine but not ready for the pulpit yet. The doctor at the Interfaith Center will be our preaching Sunday. Bro. Stricklin and Jackie will be going to New Mexico.
Get well and prayers are with Nancy Wiley, a former member at Freeman Chapel. Her little grandson, who is not six months old, has cancer on his foot and has to take chemo. Everyone pray for him.
