Miss Callis, Cunningham to exchange vows Oct. 3

The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Jada Lynn Callis and Drew Kenneth Cunningham, both of Knoxville, are being announced today.
The future bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Callis of Martin. Her grandparents are James and Doris Callis and Dr. Hobart Beale and Patsy Beale, all of Martin.
Miss Callis is a 2003 graduate of Westview High School. She received her bachelor of science degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 2007. She graduated in 2012 from UT Health Science Center, where she received a doctorate of pharmacy degree.
While at UTM, she was active in her sorority, Alpha Omicron Pi.
While in pharmacy school, she was a member of American Pharmacist Association Academy of Student Pharmacists, Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity, and also served as secretary of her class on both the Memphis and Knoxville campuses.
She is employed with CVS Pharmacy in Knoxville.
Cunningham is the son of Donald and Rhonda Cunningham of Atwood. His grandparents are Mickey and Irmgard Cunningham of Greenfield and Ray and Sandra Box of Cookville.
He is a 2002 graduate of West Carroll High School. He graduated in 2007 from UTM, where he received a bachelor of science degree in business administration and in health and human performance.
While at UTM, he was an active member of Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity.
He is employed as an enrollment advisor with the University of Phoenix, Knoxville campus.
The couple will exchange vows Oct. 6 at 6 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Martin. Music will begin at 5:30.
A reception will be held immediately after at the Union City National Guard Armory.
All family and friends are invited to attend.
They will spend their honeymoon in Negril, Jamaica. Published in The WCP 9.27.12
