Chimes cookout set

A barbecue cookout is planned for Saturday at VF Outlet Mall, located at 601 Sherwood Drive in Union City. Pre-orders will be accepted through Friday for those who call 592-9344 or 885-0011. The cookout will feature barbecue in sandwiches or by the pound, barbecue bologna sandwiches, hot dogs, baked goods and beverages.
Items which can be pre-ordered include Boston butts for $30, a rack of ribs for $20, bologna chubs for $12 and half chickens for $5.
Funds raised will go support local families in need through the annual Chimes for Charity events planned during the Christmas season each year.
