Miss Haynes to wed Bailey on Oct. 27

The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Amanda Haynes of Union City and Harrison Jarrod Kyle Bailey of Troy are being announced today.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Haynes of Union City. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Don Haynes of Union City, the late Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Thompson and the late Mr. and Mrs. C.E. Green.
She graduated from Obion County Central High School. She earned her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of Tennessee at Martin and her master’s degree in library science from Union University in Jackson. She is employed as the librarian at Hillcrest Elementary.
The groom-elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Bailey of Troy. He is the grandson of Ann Bailey of Troy, the late James Bailey, the late Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Rudd and the late. Jewell Stewart.
He is an OCCHS graduate and is employed as a crop consultant at Crop Production Services.
The couple will wed 5:30 p.m. Oct. 27 in the pasture beside Mrs. R.E. Frankum’s home at 5533 Stanley’s Chapel Church Road, Union City. Music will begin at 5.
A reception will be held in the home of the bride’s parents at 1108 Meek Road, Union City.
In the case of inclement weather, the wedding and reception will be held at Soleil Garden Center, located at 2317 Nailling Drive, Union City.
All friends and relatives are invited to attend.
No invitations will be sent.
