Elvis’ Beverly Hills estate up for sale
MEMPHIS (AP) — Real estate website operator Trulia says the former Beverly Hills home of the late Elvis Presley and his wife Priscilla is up for sale.
The home hit the market Wednesday for a cool sale price of $12.9 million.
Like Elvis’ home in Memphis, known as Graceland, Elvis fans have for years flocked to visit the property. According to the listing, the four bedroom, five bathroom French Regency estate sits on a 1.18 acre promontory overlooking Los Angeles.
According to Elvis Presley Enterprises, Presley first rented the house before the couple bought it in 1967. It was sold it several years later, after Elvis and Priscilla divorced.
The estate was formerly available for lease for $25,000 a month.

Museum of Appalachia holding 33rd homecoming
NORRIS (AP) — The Museum of Appalachia is holding its 33rd Tennessee Fall Homecoming in Norris this weekend.
The festival showcases mountain music, traditional skills and old-time foods like sassafras tea and homemade mincemeat.
Museum president Elaine Irwin Meyer told The Knoxville News Sentinel that between 5,000 and 10,000 people are expected on each of the three days of the festival, which began today. Basket-weavers from Georgia, musicians from Tennessee and tourists from across the Appalachian region are among those attending.
