Table runner and coaster classes slated at college

A course on how to make a table runner will be offered 6:30-8 p.m. Tuesday at the University of Tennessee at Martin main campus, followed by a course on making coasters from 6:30-8 p.m. Nov. 20.
Linda Arant will instruct.
Participants in the table runner course will need one-third a yard of focus fabric, a half-yard of coordinating fabric, a spool of thread in coordinating color and straight pins. The instructor will provide batting.
Participants in the coaster course will need a half-yard of two coordinating fabrics (45-inch wide yardage), a spool of thread, straight pins and scissors. The instructor will provide batting.
The registration fee to attend one course is $35 per person. Registration for both courses is $60.
