Lew Jetton of WPSD-News Channel 6 will replace Melissa Hollowed as a guest reader at Union City Elementary School’s Family Reading Night at the school library Thursday at 6 p.m. It will be “Opposite Night” and those attending are encouraged to wear clothing backwards, shoes on the wrong feet and other “opposites” and get ready to have some fun, a spokesman said. Guest readers will also include Obion County Public Library children’s department coordinator Jenny Virgin and KF99-KQ105’s very own Brent Hinson. Parents are encouraged to bring cameras since WLJT’s mascot, Rocky T-The Reading Ranger, will be there to take pictures with children.
