On Nov. 7, we started our services singing “Heavenly Sunlight,” “Leaning on the Everlasting Arms” and “The Lily of the Valley.” Bro. Robert Pogue led our opening prayer and blessed our Bible study. Our youth sang “When the Roll is Called Up Yonder.” Bro. Billy came for prayers and brought his study from Romans 6:12-18 titled, "Don't worry about tomorrow. Tomorrow will take care of itself." Bro. Scott Fulcher led our closing prayer and sent us to our homes.

Sunday morning, Happy Veterans Day to all our men and women who serve our country.  We sang “Stand up, Stand up for Jesus.” Bro. Robert Pogue read from Ecclesiastes 6:22-24. Bro. Scott Fulcher led our opening prayer and blessed our Sunday school classes.  Scott Walker taught our lesson called "Do Life Together" from Acts 4:32-35. Help one another always. Bro. Jordan Cherry led our closing prayer and blessed the preaching hour.

Our services began with Ryan Doughty leading us with our first song "My Country Tis of Thee.” Our ushers were Seth Fulcher and Hunter Doughty. Seth led the prayer and blessed the offering. The church sang "Lord Lift Me on High.” We sang “Happy Birthday” to Amy Barnett and Marie Koker. We sang “Happy Anniversary” to Scott and Laura Fulcher, Heather and John Beddingfield. Sue Wilkerson sang "God on the Mountain.” We also said the Pledge of Allegiance and the Pledge to the Christian Flag.  Bro. Billy read from Romans 13:7. Bro Scott Stokes led the prayer and blessed all our services.

Mrs. Mertie Smith played “Taps” on the piano. We praised all our military members. But we also praised Jesus who was our first soldier. Bro. Billy honored our veterans through prayer.  Jordan Campbell sang "A Tribute to the Armed Forces" in his song. He praised all branches of the services. Mrs. Maxine read a poem honoring "The Soldier.”

Our song of invitation was "Just As I Am."

Bro. Jerrell Wilkerson offered our closing prayer and blessed the food. We enjoyed a bountiful Thanksgiving meal immediately following the morning worship hour.
