Fine forgiveness set

The Obion County Public Library will host fine forgiveness days Nov. 26-Dec. 8. at 1221 East Reelfoot Ave. in Union City.
One canned good or nonperishable item will be accepted for each dollar of fines owed on returned items. Fine forgiveness will only be offered on returned items and there will be no forgiveness for fees owed for lost or damaged items.
Donated items must be sealed in the original packaging and cannot have expired.
This program will end Dec. 8, a spokesman said.
