The Union City School System has announced the following lunch menus for Dec. 10-14:
Union City High School
& UC Middle School
Monday, Dec. 10 — Baked chicken nuggets or beef fingers with whole wheat roll, mashed potatoes with gravy, steamed carrots, fresh apple, canned peaches and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Tuesday, Dec. 11 — Beef Stroganoff and noodles with whole grain breadstick or baked chicken patty with whole grain bun, steamed broccoli, fresh sandwich salad cup, fresh grapes, canned pears and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Wednesday, Dec. 12 — Roast turkey, dressing and gravy with whole wheat roll or turkey bologna and cheese with whole grain bread, sweet potatoes, green beans, fresh orange, canned applesauce and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Thursday, Dec. 13 — Chicken fajita with whole grain tortilla or turkey hot dog with whole grain bun, pinto beans, fajita mixed vegetables, fresh apple, canned pineapple and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Friday, Dec. 14 — Cheeseburger with whole grain bun or whole grain corndog, French fries, fresh sandwich salad cup, fresh banana, canned mixed fruit and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Note: UCHS and UCMS offer fresh salad bar options daily.
Union City Elementary

South Fulton Elementary School has announced the following menus for Dec. 10-14:
Breakfast
Monday, Dec. 10 — Whole grain breakfast pizza or whole grain cereal with graham cracker and fresh banana and low-fat milk or juice.
Tuesday, Dec. 11 — Sausage whole grain biscuit or whole grain cereal with wheat cheese toast and low-fat milk or juice.
Wednesday, Dec. 12 — Blueberry muffin or whole grain cereal with graham cracker and yogurt and low-fat milk or juice.
Thursday, Dec. 13 — Mini waffles or whole grain cereal with wheat toast and low-fat milk or juice.
Friday, Dec. 14 — Maple pancake or whole grain cereal with graham crackers and low-fat milk or juice.
Note: Free breakfast is offered daily to every SFES student.
Lunch
Monday, Dec. 10 — Pepperoni pizza or tuna salad with whole wheat bread, romaine salad with tomatoes and fat-free ranch dressing, English peas, fresh apple half and low-fat milk or juice.
Tuesday, Dec. 11 — Chicken nuggets or country fried steak, whole grain roll, chef-cut vegetables, pinto beans, fruit bowl and low-fat milk or juice.
Wednesday, Dec. 12 — Beef tamale pie or hot and spicy chicken patty with whole wheat bun, California vegetables, tossed salad with tomatoes and fat-free ranch dressing, fresh pear half and low-fat milk or juice.
Thursday, Dec. 13 — Hot dog with whole wheat bun or hamburger with whole wheat bun, baked beans, sweet potato fries, sliced peaches and low-fat milk or juice.
Friday, Dec. 14 — Spaghetti with meat sauce and whole grain roll or corn dog, spinach salad with tomatoes, green beans, fresh banana and low-fat milk or juice.
