Board chairman honored

First Citizens National Bank chairman Katie Winchester was among the 24 individuals and organizations recently honored by the Tennessee Hospital Association during its 74th annual meeting in Nashville.
Ms. Winchester received the Meritorious Service Award, which recognizes leadership and service by individuals in support of their hospitals and health systems.
She is chairman of Baptist Memorial Health Care System’s board of trustee and received the meritorious service award in the board member category. Ms. Winchester was recognized for her strategic vision, dedication and leadership as a Baptist Memorial Health Care board member for more than 10 years.
Ms. Winchester began serving on the system board of trustees in 2002 and Baptist’s corporate board of directors in 2003. She served as chair of the corporate board in 2009 and has served on the quality committee and finance committee for the corporate board, as well as the executive committee for the system board.
