General Sessions

The following cases were disposed of Dec. 10-14 in Obion County General Sessions Court by Judge Jimmy Smith, or fines paid before scheduled court appearances, and were recorded in the dockets in the office of Obion County Circuit Court Clerk Harry Johnson.
The cases listed exclude routine traffic violations, civil cases and cases that are dismissed, unless dismissal is contingent upon costs being paid or other conditions. All others are published, including judicial diversions and deferred cases, without exception.

• Fred T. Miller — driving while license suspended, dismissed on payment of costs.
• Christopher B. Stowell — driving while license suspended, dismissed on payment of costs.
• Eulajean S. Herold — driving under the influence (first offense), guilty of a lesser charge of reckless driving.
• Christ Ingram — false reports/attempt, amended to a misdemeanor offense of the same charge.
• Dustin B. Launer — driving under the influence (second offense), guilty of a lesser charge of first-offense DUI.
• Anthony W. Madding — theft of property ($1,000-$10,000), amended to a misdemeanor offense of the same charge.
• Willie J. Walker — attempted first-degree murder, bound over to the grand jury on an amended charge of attempted second-degree murder; and theft of property ($1,000-$10,000), bound over to the grand jury.
• Danny Young — driving while license suspended, bound over to the grand jury.
• Kendall S. Parmenter — driving while license suspended, deferred.
• James T. Moore — theft (up to $500), guilty as charged.
• Cody W. Stephens — financial responsibility law violation, guilty as charged.
• Amanda B. Olhausen — theft of property ($500-$1,000)/attempt and theft (up to $500), waived to the grand jury.
• Deborah L. Smith — theft of property ($500-$1,000)/attempt and theft (up to $500), waived to the grand jury.
• Debbie K. Bolding — financial responsibility law violation, guilty/traffic ticket paid in full.
• Marietta L. Crume — financial responsibility law violation, guilty/traffic ticket paid in full.
