STUDYING SPACE — Students in Union City Elementary School third-grade teacher Julie Morgan’s class who recently completed space projects were (from left) Lazzarus Scribner, Cara Yates, Jordan Fowler, Jack Guess and Brooklyn Cobb. Many Internet Web sites and PowerPoint presentations were used by students to enhance their learning, and various art projects were used to reinforce learning and creativity. At the end of the unit of study, students were assigned optional space projects.
