The Obion County TEA Party meeting originally set for Tuesday night has been rescheduled due to a conflict. The new date is Jan. 17 at 6:30 p.m. at the Obion County Public Library at 1221 East Reelfoot Ave. in Union City.
Gun control laws will be the focus on the session and a documentary video, “Innocents Betrayed, the True Story of Gun Control,” will be shown. The film is a graphic but accurate account of the evils of historical efforts by governments to disarm their citizens, a spokesman said.
The meeting is open to all who are interested.
