Kristin Chandler and Wesley Yates wed

Kristin Michelle Chandler and Wesley Russell Yates were married recently at Second Baptist Church in Union City, Tennessee.
The pastor, Eddie Mallonee, performed the double-ring ceremony.
The sanctuary was decorated in a whimsical Christmas setting with numerous Christmas trees adorned in silver and white. The room was dimly lit with hundreds of twinkling Christmas lights.
The bride is the daughter of Michael and Rhonda Chandler of Union City. She wore a white, organza dress with a sweetheart-neckline and cathedral train. The gown was encrusted with gorgeously beaded scalloped lace over the entire bodice and a satin belt featuring Swarovski crystals and gemstones that highlighted the waistline front and back.
The groom is the son of Ken Yates of Hornbeak, and Virgil and Lori Griffin of Troy. He wore a black tux with satin lapels, accented with an apple red vest and tie.
Presented in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by her friend, Morgan Norris from Bay Minette, Alabama, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Brandi Griffin and Merany Gantt of Union City, Meredith Mancell of Troy, Hannah Yates of Hornbeak, Amy Chandler of Memphis, and Kylie McClendon of Nashville.
Brandon Young of Greenwood, Mississippi was the best man. Groomsmen were Brady Chandler and John Cooper of Union City, Shawn Chandler, Brad Kendall, and Patrick Ariemma of Memphis, and Danny Hussey of Paris.
Ushers were John Cooper of Union City, and Dillon McClendon of Nashville. Lillie Claire Griffin of Union City was the flower girl. Chandler Yates of Hornbeak was the ring bearer. Brady Chandler and Linda Williams of Union City served as pianists and Shawn Chandler of Memphis served as guitarist.
Vocalists were Shawn Chandler, Brady Chandler, Brandi Griffin, Kylie McClendon, and Dillon McClendon, all family members of the bride. Erin Miles of Martin and Morgan Solomon of Troy sat at the registry tables.
A reception, decorated in a winter wonderland theme, was held in the fellowship hall. Servers included Jaime Johnson of Troy, Candace Akin of Union City, and Ali Perkins of Hornbeak.
The bride and groom served a meal to all guests catered by Judy Robinson and Laura Johnston of Union City.
The bride is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin where she received a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. She teaches 2nd grade at Black Oak Elementary School in Hornbeak.
The groom is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin and is currently seeking a doctorate degree in Physical Therapy at Tennessee State University in Nashville.
The newlyweds reside in Union City.
