Obion County Central High School’s 34-member cheerleading squad left Troy Wednesday evening for Orlando, Fla., and the NCA National High School Cheerleading Championship. Sharing a moment before boarding the bus were (from left) senior Rebecca Lund, coach David Byars, senior Sabrina Clutter and senior Morgan Grisham. The two-day cheerleading competition will begin Saturday at Disney World’s ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. As they left the OCCHS parking lot Wednesday evening, the cheerleaders were given goodie bags with their team slogan, “Together We Will.” |
