The Messenger, February 7, 2013 Trio to sing Revelation Trio will sing at Liberty Worship Center Church of God of Prophecy at 120 Forestdale in South Fulton Sunday at 11 a.m. Everyone is welcome, according to the Rev. Danny Walker.
Pantry will be open The Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church’s One for All food pantry will be open Tuesday from 4-6 p.m. Proof of income and residency is required. The Rev. Caroline Farmer is the pastor.
Building event slated The members of Church of Jesus for All will present a building funds program Sunday at 3 p.m. The Rev. Tonda Emerson from New Life Ministries Anointed Church of the Living God in Union City will be the speaker. The Rev. Harry Hayes and the congregation invite the community to join them.
Scholarship program set The annual Honor Scholarship program will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at Jacksonville Free Will Baptist Church in South Fulton. Youth from churches in the area will be performing songs, dances, readings and skits. The Rev. Anthony Hodges, pastor of St. Paul AME Church in South Fulton, will bring the message. “We earnestly thank the community for the support given to us throughout the years and hope there will be continued help to further the education of Twin Cities youth,” a spokesman said in extending an invitation to area residents to attend.
